Continued Framing + Water Line Upgrade

Today we installed the triple LVL beam that supports the 2nd floor floor joists.  Then, the joists themselves were cut and installed, and finally a few sections of the tongue and groove plywood subfloor were glued and nailed into place.

Also, the County showed up today to begin the water line work.  They broke up the pavement, dug out a spot for the new water meter crock, and installed it.  Tomorrow or perhaps Friday they will return to actually run the upgraded copper pipe from the main (in the center of the street) over into the meter crock.

  1. What progress! And...what a huge hole in the pavement for the new waterline!!! Didn't realize the'd need to excavate such a large opening. All the new walls and LVL's surely look impressive. Can't wait to see it in person.
