Miscellaneous framing day
Today there was work in the basement with some structural issues that needed to be attended to. We needed to have a double LVL beam installed in a critical location spanning the stairs. This beam transfers much of the weight from the 2nd floor. As part of this process they also went ahead and built out the new wall that will be separating the old basement space from the new apartment and the basement stairwell.
