Corrected 2nd floor windows delivered and installed on Friday. Note the lack of a gap between the two windows. This is how three of the rooms upstairs should have been ordered originally.
Also the two new rear doors were installed.
Massive new porch door assembly arrived as well. It will be installed sometime this week. Unfortunately previous contractor ordered it "stain grade" instead of primed, so we will have to prime and paint it.

Update
All but one of the low voltage wires has been run. The remaining one is a very short one and will be done tomorrow after I get more cable. Also had a chance to mount the wiring cabinet ("structured media enclosure"). Looking forward to wiring this bad boy up!
I also got the double pocket door framing completed in the 1st floor study.
Finally, don't have a photo of it but the shingles on the revised porch dormer were installed this morning...so we are ready for the rain that is expected over the next several days.

Porch dormer re-do
Old front doors have been removed and the new door opening built. Previous contractor had built the roof almost 8" too short! House is wide open right now but roof should be decked over tomorrow and maybe we can board up the opening. The actual door should be arriving any day now.

Random update
Still wrapping up some pre-inspection items with framing and electrical. Thought I would post some photos of some stuff:
My mom spent the last three days doing nothing but priming and painting these. HUGE help!
Two of 4 in-ceiling speaker boxes I built tonight. 4 more to go!:
1st floor fireblocking:
2nd floor hall bath - alcove wall
Finished PEX manifolds, apartment meters, and walk-mounted utility sink

Another post
I have been so swamped with wiring that I haven't had time to take photos or post updates. Ended a bit early tonight so here ya go.
Both wiring and plumbing are nearly complete. Lots of other tasks left to be done though.
Did a new walkthrough video: https://youtu.be/t8pkIVmOVdI
Basement bedroom wall that we framed out today.
Final window in the house has been installed!!
PEX plumbing coming along nicely. Apartment manifold/meters on right, main house manifold on left.
Double 30" pocket door rough-in
1st floor completed sub-panel

Lots of progress with the first floor wiring. At this rate we will be done much quicker than the 2nd floor.

2nd floor AC unit
Got the rest of the 2nd floor heat pump system installed today and all upstairs ductwork completed. They also installed the condenser (exterior unit) outside and shifted over our existing unit. The new unit is so small!
Also Dad helped rebuild a section of exterior wall/window frame that had major termite damage. Thanks also to Mom for help with cleanup work. Excellent work!
Old unit is in the foreground, the small darker gray unit is the new 2nd floor unit.
Finally, noticed that the Hostas that were moved to next to the fence last year have come back all on their own despite being covered in backfill for months. Interesting how they broke through the ground. Nature always finds a way!
